DEGSE is an Erasmus+ project designed to introduce young people across Europe to the world of social entrepreneurship—through the engaging format of digital escape games. In a time where more and more youth are looking to align their careers with social values, DEGSE provides a fun, creative and accessible way to explore how business can become a tool for social good.
Escape games that teach, challenge and inspire
At the core of DEGSE are ten fully digital escape games that simulate the journey of becoming a social entrepreneur. Players are immersed in interactive missions that reflect real-world issues, from environmental challenges to community needs. As they solve puzzles and unlock the next steps in the story, participants build essential entrepreneurial skills like critical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making—while reflecting on the impact they want to have in the world.

Creative tools for youth workers and educators
DEGSE also equips youth workers with innovative tools to support learning in a fun and inclusive way. The project includes a creation kit and tutorial for building escape rooms, a guidebook full of practical tips and inclusive methods, and inspiring examples of social business initiatives from across Europe. All resources are designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring that everyone, including learners with specific needs, can take part in the experience.
Supporting a new wave of changemakers
By combining the power of play with the values of entrepreneurship and social engagement, DEGSE helps young people see themselves as capable of driving change in their communities. It turns learning into an adventure and shows that being an entrepreneur isn’t only about profit: it can also be about purpose.
